Leshan travel guide

Visit the Giant Buddha, explore Leshan’s riverfront and try local dishes around Zhanggongqiao or Suji. A walking visit and a river-view outing offer different views; Mount Emei needs additional travel time.

Getting there & around

A train arrival at Leshan still needs a transfer to the river or the Giant Buddha visitor area. Land and boat visits use different access points and offer different perspectives. Choose a licensed boat option only through the actual operator; keep Mount Emei separate from a rushed Buddha-and-lunch day.
